United StatesHigh School: Kayla is a fourth year player on the Blacksburg High School varsity team and has been a captain on the team. She has a 4.22 GPA and will be attending Washington and Lee University in the fall of 2020. Kayla is leader of FCA and the A Better Community club at Blacksburg High School.
Personal: Born September 27, 2001. Raised in North Brunswick, New Jersey and moved to Blacksburg in the summer of 2016. Daughter of Kasey and Reid Monaghan. Has younger sister Kylene (13) and brother Tommy (10).
Club Team: Kayla played soccer on NB Wildcats for North Brunswick travel (2009-2011) and FC Copa Lima (2012-2016). She also played for the New Jersey ODP team (2015/16 and 2016/17) and Virginia ODP (2017/18). Captain of club team 01 Girls NRU where she played throughout her time in high school.
