United StatesHigh School: McKenzie joined the BHS Girls Soccer Program as an eighth grader playing a crucial role on the JV team. She joined the Varsity team as a freshman playing mostly left back. This will be her third year in the Blacksburg soccer program. McKenzie has also been playing on the Varsity basketball team for two years. She is the upcoming Vice President of the Make-a-Wish club, and maintains a 4.0 GPA.
Personal: Born September 13, 2003. Raised in Bluefield, Virginia, and moved to Blacksburg the summer before her eighth grade year. Daughter of Sandee and George Cheynet. Has one older brother, Connor (18), who also plays for Blacksburg soccer, and one twin sister, Morgan (16).
Club team: McKenzie currently plays for New River United. She has played Virginia ODP for two years (2018, 2019).
