Blacksburg hosted Conference 32 opponent Hidden Valley and came away with a 3-2 victory. Blacksburg jumped out to an early 2-0 lead with Akaela Feng scoring on a loose ball resulting from a corner kick in the 6th minute. In the 17th minute Hannah Elias scored on an assist from Ashlen Burch.
In the 18th minute Blacksburg committed a foul in the box giving Hidden Valley a PK. In the 29th minute, Hidden Valley sent in a pass which was inadvertently deflected off a Blacksburg defender to tie the game 2-2. Blacksburg would score on a Blake Carroll corner in the 35th minute on a finish from Georgia Halkidis for the eventual game winner.
Neither team scored in the second half. Blacksburg recorded 12 shots on goal compared to 6 for Hidden Valley. Blacksburg also recorded 7 corner kicks to 3 for Hidden Valley. Kinsey Verbrugge recorded 3 saves and the HV goalie recorded 5 saves.
