Despite outshooting PH 17-0, Blacksburg didn’t find the back of the net until the 69th minute when Sophia Thompson found Catie Walters who beat the PH Keeper on a well placed shot. The PH Keeper made 9 saves on the evening while Chris Martin and the Blacksburg Defense preserved the shutout. Blacksburg also recorded 8 corner kicks and PH had none.
