8th – 12th grade students interested in trying out for the Girls Soccer Team are invited to attend a prospective player meeting on Thursday, 10/11, at 5:00pm in the Blacksburg High School Community Rooms located right across from the High School Gym. Parents new to Girls High School soccer are also encouraged to attend.
Prior to the meeting… Any player interested in trying out for the 2018 BHS Girls Soccer team is invited to participate in a Fall Outdoor training session. Weather permitting, we will hold an optional training session focusing mostly on 7v7 and 11v11 play. This will be held Wednesday, 10/11 from 3:30 – 4:45.
This should be a fun opportunity to get a preview of the 2017 season. Players can only participate in this session if they have turned in their school physical. Be sure to dress appropriately including cleats, shin guards, and warm cloths if it is cold.
